Adam Heron performs at Leighton House
Irish Heritage’s 2017 Music Bursary recipient, Adam Heron gave a virtuoso, solo piano recital in the elegant surroundings of Leighton House in Kensington, London on Tuesday evening (12 th June). The talented, 19-years-old pianist impressed an appreciative audience with a selection of music by Bach, Chopin and Scriabin.
Adam, who had just returned from performing in the Masterpiece series at the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival was runner-up in the keyboard section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year earlier in the spring.
The recital brought Irish Heritage’s 2017/18 season to a successful close. The organisation will launch its 2018/19 season in September.
